Hamers group gets SEED grant funding

The Hamers group is named as one of the first recipients of funding under Wisconsin's new State Economic Engagement and Development Program, which provides funding to UW entrepreneurs to perform basic research of potential benefit to startup companies they have founded. Funding from the SEED program is being used by graduate student Sarah Guillot to explore fundamental decomposition pathways of new electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries. The work benefits startup company Silatronix, a UW start-up company co-founded by Bob Hamers is 2007.  The full article can be found here.
