Intro:(General information on the course)

Syllabus (rough dates for lecture topics and labs)

Lab: Jeanne is maintaining a separate web page for the lab. Please click here to access it.

TA's lecture notes: The TA's will be posting lecture notes here.

Handouts:

Complex Notation

Transfer Functions

Op Amps for Everyone (Please read chapters 2 and 3 before the beginning of lab 2).

Bipolar Transistors

Analog Circuit Noise

VCO's and Voltage-frequency conversion notes

Power-point slides of PLL applications

Handout on Lock-in (phase-sensitive) detection

Here is a good web site dealing with radio receivers, etc.

Handout on heterodyne methods and superheterodyne receiver

Handout on Projects

EAGLE PC-board layout program: Executable for windows

Chem628 EAGLE library file (has the power connector, etc.) Download this file to your computer in the C:/program files/eagle-4.15/lbr directory. To make sure that EAGLE knows to use this library, you may need to go to the top toolbar and do Library....Use..... and select this library. After that you should be able to use it like any other library.

Some example boards, non-inverting op-amp and inverting op-amp.

Eagle for other platforms

Tutorial (assumes you are also using the Schematic functions)

Circuit Simulator from Texas Instruments ("TINA")
