Welcome to the applet project underway at UW-Madison's Interactive Chemistry. I hope you've tried the Virtual Titrator, and if not, try it already... it has a nice user interface. This applet performs quantum wave calculations over a series of elements. It currently plots only the wave equation, though soon it shall also graph the electron probabilistic density curve for the row of elements. The diamonds at the bottom can be moved -- they represent the elements to be graphed. Experiment with different separations between the elements and different numbers of elements. And have fun!!
